Three distinct volumes, one cohesive vision. The Patio House opens effortlessly to its surroundings, welcoming natural light and the beauty of nature into daily life while seamlessly blurring the line between indoor elegance and outdoor serenity. This masterfully crafted architecture organizes and zones an unconventional layout, creating an immersive, multi-dimensional living experience rather than just a traditional home.

On the west side, a sophisticated entrance area and a sweeping driveway set a striking tone, offering a powerful first impression of this exceptional estate. Nestled between the buildings to the south lies the true heart of the home: a spacious, sun-drenched patio complete with premium decking. Designed as the focal point for daily life, this vibrant outdoor living area opens directly onto the lush, forested backdrop of the adjacent plot. Meanwhile, the eastern wing reveals an intimate, secluded sanctuary—a private retreat where architecture and nature converge to create the perfect setting for quiet reflection or gathering around the family table.

The structures were meticulously designed to harmonize with the smart zoning of the plot. Through dynamic architectural forms—featuring extensive loggias, deep overhangs, and a sleek glass pavilion link—the design responds intuitively to the environment, erasing the boundaries between the interior and exterior worlds. The grandest, floor-to-ceiling glass expanses on the ground floor face the central patio, transforming it into a year-round extension of the main living spaces. This central courtyard is beautifully framed by dense, curated greenery along the property line, set against a majestic backdrop of mature forest trees.

The utility wing—housing a private home studio adaptable into a luxurious guest suite—and the dedicated children’s wing are designed as sleek, single-story pavilions. Elevating the design, the central volume over the living area rises to accommodate an exclusive master suite on the upper floor, complete with an en-suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. Below, a double-height living room commands attention, offering dual access to the vibrant patio and the tranquil northern garden. Extending from the master bedroom, a grand loggia captures stunning, panoramic views toward the west.
The buildings feature modern gable roofs with a refined 10-degree pitch, clad in premium grey standing-seam metal. The facade showcases a sophisticated material palette, blending the rich tactile texture of rough-sawn timber finished in a shimmering grey translucent glaze with crisp, light-toned architectural plaster. This elegant composition is boldly punctuated by minimalist, matte black aluminum joinery.
The clear division into three organic volumes proved remarkably resilient against real-world adaptations. The sheer power of its structural form and spatial composition ensured that the final execution retained its original, uncompromising cohesion. It stands as definitive proof that architectural flexibility and adaptability were embedded in the very DNA of this design from day one.
